02 Sensory
The X Collab is a platform created by Brandon Coyle (KSA) and Andrel Damian (KSA) in collaboration with Josh Wijsveld (UCA) and Darragh Morgan (Brighton University). The platform was established as a catalyst to create inter-institutional multidisciplinary collaborations. Their goal from the beginning was to bring creative students from universities all over the United Kingdom in effort to create artwork in the current uninspiring climate. Their vision is to provide exposure, opportunity for networking and a means of approaching the market of artwork in an alternative manner.

After completing the first unit of the x collab (which was blue) they announced they’re next theme in July being Red. this one for me was a-little more difficult as the theme they related to the work was senses. this time I managed to contact my partner and we both made really good pieces of art. I started with something more abstract with mine and during the swop i could see she had a poster like illustration reflecting what appear to be of a darker theme. so i illustrated the drawing in a digital form, which i also sent to her for her own copy, then merged them together. i also added a few of my own illustrations that recognised senses.
